Crucial 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Safety Features

Blind spot monitoring with rear cross path detection is a feature that warns the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica driver of vehicles approaching from the side. When activated, it uses sensors to detect vehicles in your blind spots and flashes a warning light on the outside mirrors when you put on your turn signal. This feature can be used in conjunction with other safety features such as adaptive cruise control.

Electronic stability control (ESC) is a feature that helps you maintain control of your vehicle when driving on rough or slippery surfaces. It also can prevent skidding and reduce the risk of rollover. ESC works by applying brakes to your wheels as necessary to keep you going straight, especially if you suddenly steer away from what’s in front of you.

The Park Assist system can automatically steer the vehicle in and out of tight parking spots, stop the vehicle if it detects an obstacle and even override your own steering inputs to help guide you around tight spaces. The Park Assist system uses cameras on either side of the car to detect whether or not there’s enough room for you to drive through.
